Target:

The development of standby data transmission channel via MW links for fiber-optic communication lines. The line capacity should be 200Mbps. The configuration of the radio channel should be 2 + 0XPIC.

Main difficulties

• A split-mount radio was required for the operation at harsh environment conditions.
  
• Antenna masts are not able to bring out complex configurations of antennas with large diameters. In this connection, equipment with a high system gain was required.
